yea i could need some help... i have managed to fix everything exept the power switch connector which is just annoying as hell, i have checked the dell manual but it dosen't give any help. I have a dell xps 630i which i changed the case to haf 932 and noctua d-14, the rest is the original parts.
Dell... theres your problem, they make it very hard for you to change parts.
the power switch connector? by that do you mean the tiny little cable, with a head on it about 5mm big? whats wrong with it, you should be able to plug it into the motherboards F-Panel socket.
Sometimes you can't read the writing as its tiny, so just plug it into one of the socekts (in The Front panel port) if the power button still fails... its the wrong socket... lol
yea i know dell sucks, it's to the right buttom of the mothercard the fron panel connectors are right? anyways i have tried all the diffent pins with the 2 pin power switch connector i know it's not something wrong with the PSU because when i plugg in the electicity cable the fans start a bit and then they shut down. It's when i am press the power button nothing happens.
I know about computers, having built a fair few. if you need some advice give me a shout
