The first guest poster!

Hey Guys,
Thank to Missbanks for letting me write a post as a guest.
However I don’t know that much about gold farming/making. I recently managed to hit the
20k golds. Not that this is a big issue but maybe I could give you an idea about making gold
yourself.
My recently have 3 80’s but I actually use only 2 of them to make some gold. 1st one is
Buffalowings,
this guy has Jewelcrafting maxed. And the most important char in my gold farming process.
2nd one is Surprisee. This dude has 450 mining 450 Enchanting.
What I do: Fly with of course 280% flying mount across wintergrasp area farming saronite
and titanium veins. These veins include the ores, but also Crystallized Earths and Shadows
and Sun crystals and all those green JC items. After a couple hours farming I got quite a lot
of ores and Eternal Earths and Shadows etc. So I HS to dalaran. Send all the ores + eternal
earths and shadows to Buffalowings ( The JC). I prospect all ores and I craft the following
items:
[Bloodstone Band] - 1 Bloodstone, 2 Crystallized Earth
[Crystal Chalcedony Amulet] - 1 Chalcedony, 2 Crystallized Earth
[Crystal Citrine Necklace] - 1 Huge Citrine, 2Crystallized Earth
[Sun Rock Ring] - 1 Sun Crystal, 2 Crystallized Earth
[Stoneguard Band] - 2 Eternal Earth
[Shadowmight Ring] - 1 Eternal Earth, 1 Eternal Shadow
When crafted, I send all my things to 2nd Char Surprisee. And DE all the things. And
put them on AH. Titanium ores I sell @ ah ore melt them to bars/titansteel. When the
market value of Titanium ores are like <8g p/s I prospect them on Buffalowings and craft
gems out of the epics that roll out. It just depends on the market value and fluctuation.
The amount earned from all this depends on the time you invest in farming. However
I currently buy/try to buy stacks of Eternal Earths for around 60-80g And farm as well.
Currently I’m @ 20k in about 1,5 months or so using this. I also do a lot of reselling.
So hopefully I might have given an idea about how u can make a substantial amount of gold.
If you got any tips for me you could always ./w me @ wow.
Greetings
Surprisee
(Banker: Killabank)

Inscription

A big part of inscription is the glyph wars, there is a lot of competition and a lot of undercutting, so i recommend you reading my QA3 posts, These are my settings on my glyph group on QA3.

To craft i use /ktq queue 4 glyphs and i queue up all my glyphs that i don't have 4 of. I also research each day to get both the new minor and the major glyphs. I stand in dalaran next to the ink trader and reagent seller because there is a feature of KTQ that when you talk to a vendor that has any of the item you need to craft the queued glyphs you can press purchase all reagents. This will make KTQ purchase all the reagents you need so it will for example purchase all the inks you need from the ink trader. This makes it very each to craft glyphs that don't have ink of the sea as a reagent.

Here's a quick FAQ for inscription from 20keleveling.

Q: What is the best way to level up inscription?
A: There are several routes you can take when leveling up Inscription. All of them depend on your servers economy. Once you get into the glyph making stage of inscription check the prices of every glyph that you can skill up on. You will get a new set of glyphs every 5 skill-up points. Find the Best priced glyphs and make 5 of them. Rinse and repeat for the next 5 glyphs.

Many times, there will be two "orange" glyphs from the trainer. Make 2-3 of each rather than 5 of a single one.

Q:Should I mill low end herbs or convert Ink of the Sea?
A: This again depends on your server's economy. If your leveling up inscription it might be cheaper to buy Ink of the Sea and convert them at the Ink Trader in Dalaran. You wont be able to mill Northrend herbs but it is possible to find a friend who's a scribe to do the work for you for a tip or something. It's a matter of comparing costs. If a stack of Goldthorn is 30g and Ink of the Sea is 40g per stack its going to be cheaper to buy the Ink of the Sea.

Q: What addons should I use to help my glyph businees?
A: Commonly used addons are: Auctioneer, Auctionator, Quick Auctions 2, Advanced Trade Skill Window (ATSW), Skillet, Bankstack, KTQ, Market Watcher, Altoholic, And more I can't think of off the top of my head. The Addons section of these forums have a lot of information about different addons.

Q: What glyphs should I make to make the big money?!
A: Again, This is server dependent. The most common practice on these forums is to make a set amount of every glyph and remake them as you sell them. I highly recommend starting with a low number such as 1 or 2 and working your way up. I started at 2 and moved to 5 then 10 and slowly pushing to 15.

Q: Why am I not making money with Inscription?
A: Could be various reasons. Sometimes your server just doesn't have a strong glyph market. Try canceling and reposting more often, esp. during peak hours. I started out making 100-200g a day with glyphs and am now pushing over 1k a day without really trying. A lot of the big profit comes from doing your research as I sell many of these glyphs for 50-75g

Q: How much does it cost to make a glyph?
A: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1232

Q: What do I do with all this snowfall ink?
A: You can do a few different things. Most people either try to sell it to card makers to cut their cost down or they become card makers themselves. With the patch 3.2.2 we can now make Fortitude scrolls which seem to sell decently. You can also try making some of the off hand items and selling those. (I'm a card maker also so I haven't done much of the latter.)

Q: OMG there's an idiot ruining the glyph market! What do I do?
A: This depends on a few different factors and getting rid of the "goblin" can be a risky gamble if you don't have the capital to back it up. You can either drive the prices of glyphs down to the point where it's not worth his time as there is no profit in them. Or you can dry up the herb market to inflate herb prices, raising his costs and running him out of ink. Both ways might not be effective if hes getting his herbs sold directly to him for below market value as is.

Q: Do I need the Books of Glyph Mastery?
A: There are 57 glyphs that can be learned only from the Books of Glyph Mastery. These glyphs cannot be learned through your daily research (nor will the books teach glyphs that must be researched). Each glyph is learned randomly from the list of 57. Reading a 58th Book will fail, but the Book is not destroyed. (There was a 58th glyph on the PTR at one time, but it was removed before the patch went live.)

This will help you with the basic facts when your getting started.

You can also make gold from crafting the tomes and the darkmoon cards, this is nothing i do on bronzebeard horde because there are already many people in that market so there is no that much profit to make so i mostly stick with glyphs.

Okey this is my post about inscription hope you learned something form it i will post a couple of addons that will help you with both jc and iinscription after this post

jewelcrafting

I am gone start with jewelcrafting one of the proffesions i use alot i have talked abit before about how to get started but i will repost it here again for you people that didin't read it or just have forgotten about it.

As you know if you have leveled a jewelcrafter it takes about 5k-7k gold, but it will be worth it in the end.I make about 1k extra a day from each crafting profession i have.So when you get to 450 what do you do?, well i would say go and do the daily jewel crafting daily and complete it. This will give you one jc token. Go onto the auction house and check for some cheap titanium ore if there are any buy these and prospect them you will get titanium powder and different gems. Prospect as many as you can afford. Now go to the npc thats in the jc house in dalaran who stands behind a desk. He will have the exchange of 10x titanium powder for 1 jewelcrafting tokens. If you get more then four tokens in total go check this website
http://www.wowpopular.com/gems
If you do not have enough tokens just repeat the procedure each day until you do. Now pick four gems thats on the top and check what's the price for that gem on your auction house. I would recommend cardinal ruby cuts because they sell well and are cheap. Now just check the auction house and trade for cheap uncut gems, buy these and cut them then add them into QA3 (check my previous guide) and start posting. With the money you make craft more gems and buy more titanium ore and remember to do the daily because it's worth about 200g of material.

That's the basic of how to start crafting epic gems, but rare gems and uncommon gems are also profitable because everyone doesn't have enough money to give their alts epic gems but might have to settle with green or blue gems. i Reccomend using the /ktq commands to craft for example if you want to have a maximum of say 5 of the same epic gem over all you chars. (using altoholic, ktq ans sparkles workshop) you type in chat /ktq queue 5 epicgems, and you have to have your jewelcrafting window open while typing this. This will make ktq start queuing up all the epic gems you can craft and which you don't already have 5 of, you can do the same for rare gems but uncommon gems doesn't work for some reason. Okey that's how to set up the crafting part

Now for the prospecting part which is a bit harder to understand so i will borrow a picture from 20k leveling forums. This is a picture which explains how to make money from prospecting saronite ore and using a enchanter to cross profession.

This picture shows everything you can get from prospecting and what you want to do with it, as you can see you get lots of stuff to enchant and also some meta gems so i recommend having both a enchanter and a jewelcrafter for the saronite shuffle as it's called.

While we are talking about prospecting i found a great website which shows you if you will make any money from prospecting the ore depending on the price of the ore and the price of the mats you can get out of it, but you have to think that if you a jewelcrafter you can increase the price of the mats by cutting them.

http://www.wowprospector.com/

Epic gems usually sell the best at raid nights or the morning after, also on Wednesday when people get their arena points. I use the trade to get my mats because there are loads of people that just wants to get quick gold and don't want to put the gem on the auction house.

Okey i think that's gone be all for jewelcrafting thank you for reading the wall of text /missbanks

Visitors counter is down

I can't get to the visitor counters website and the counter is gone so I guess there's some kind of problem on their end and I hope they will fix it soon. Will try to get a replacement mean while

Edit* it's back up again

The winners of the poll

The winners of the poll are inscription and jewelcrafting I will write a post about each of them tomorrow. :)

What professions should you have together?

Well I would say some good combinations are jewelcrafting & nalchemy for the daily transmute and then cutting the gem you transmute. Mining & blacksmithing for the titanium steel smelting and for an easier leveling of blacksmithing.

Also jewelcrafting, engineering and alchemy is a good combination because you can with engineering farm eternals which you can transmute with some uncommon gems into meta gems which you then as a jewelcrafter can cut.

Market watcher!

This is an addon I used when I did a lot of flipping, you can use this to cancel and undercut but the biggest feature is it's graphs, everytime you scan the items. It remembers the price and time of day. When you have scanned a couple of times a graph shows up you can set it to average market price, lowest item, highest item and loads of other alternatives.

This way you can see that for example infinite dust is cheap on Tuesdays but goes up in price on Saturdays. That way you know when to buy the item and when to sell it. It's a great addon and I recommend you getting it, it's easy to set up and get started with and good tool for flipping. :)

There is still 10 hours left to vote and it's head to head between iscription and jewelcrafting.

How to shorten you auction house scan

First of all don't do a regular scan because that will take forever, in the chat write /aadv getall.

This will start a quick scan start which takes a couple of minutes. Once the bar has reached stage 2 you can leave and go do something else you don't have to be at the auction house but you do have to stay online.

This is so Auctioneer can correlate and organise the data is has scanned.

How to link an item without having it in your inventory.

I received a tip yesterday from Marcaa it's about how to set up a macro that makes a link and this is how you do it [Marcaa] whispers: make macro with

/run SendChatMessage("WTS "..(select(2,GetItemInfo(XXXXX))),"channel",nil,2)

but replace XXXXX with item number this way you say WTS the item number you have put in becomes a link to that item.

To find the item number you can go to wowhead or thottbot. This way you can set up a WTB or WTS macro which you can use several times with out having to link all the items and do all the manual work.

Vote about what proffesion you want me to cover next!

So I have decided to host another public vote, 'Which Profession would you like me to cover next?'

Simply select the profession you wish to be covered, and click on the vote button. If your vote was a success you will not be able to vote again.

Wow ingame calculator

I've found an addon that creates a calculator in world of warcraft. You can count in both numbers and in currency (i.e. gold/silver/copper).

Another great feature is you can input calculations by typing in the chat box /calc 2 + 2 and it’ll return 4 or you can do something like /calc (3.5g +50s) * 2 which will return 8g.

This will help a lot when you quickly want to calculate something mats price or how much profit your making stuff like that. Now you no longer need to tab down and get the windows calculator.

Resale both pictures and text

Before you look at the pictures i recommend reading the flipping and resale posts and together with these pictures you will be able to understand what to do and how to do it.

First press the search ui to get to the resale and snatch tabs

The snatch tool and how to use it

How to set up the resale tool

And what to do in the resale tool

The idea of resale is to use the addon auctioneer http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/auctioneer.aspx( scan daily for a week if you haven't had this addon before), this addon has a resale tab which you can reach in the search tab of the auction house. First start by scanning the ah by typeing /aadv getall and wait for it to finish the scan.

You will start by reconfiguring the resale tab.I have a my minimum discount on 64% and my minimum profit on 1g, but you can change this depending on how many auctions you want to show up. On the first search i recommend you going through the list briefly and going through and when you reach vendor items or stuff like roasted quail you just press the item then the button ignore, this will make you ignore the item in future searches. This way you can avoid buying stuff that is not worth anything.

I recommend buying trade goods at first because they sell the quickest armor and weapons will take a while to sell and if you need quick cash it's not such a good investment.

22 steps written by marko at www.justmytwocopper.blogspot.com

1. Open the auction house tab.
2. Type /aadv getall.
3. When the scan completes, mouse over the hidden set of icons just under your mini-map.
4. Select the second option from the right which looks like a magnifying glass. It’s the
Appraiser tab.
5. Select Vendor from search options
6. Put 50 silver as your minimum profit.
7. Using the purchase option, spam it until every item disappears from the list. These items will always net you money, regardless of whether you vendor or resell them.
8. Accept purchase for each and when you are done confirm them.
9. Select the Resale from searches options
10. Put 50 silver as your minimum profit.
11. Sort by quality of items so that white items show up first and select purchase for each item that looks like a good deal. Compare the bid/buyout price with what you think the item will sell for. Be mindful of ridiculously priced items which can trick auctioneer. You can look below the list of items to compare your currently selected item with all others currently on the auction house.
12. If you wish you can do the other quality items as well.
13. Select done.
14. Go to your mail box.
15. DO NOT PASS GO. DO NOT COLLECT 200 GOLD. Just kidding :)-
15. Empty the mail box into your bags.
16. Go to the auction house. Open the auction house tab.
17. Select Appraiser at the far bottom right of your normal auction house tab.
18. For each item, use the first horizontal bar to select the size of each stack to sell. If the item is not that susceptible to flooding you can leave the total number to sell at ALL. If the item is susceptible to flooding, such as rare twink items, then reduce the number you wish to sell at any one time.
19. Select the enable batch post check box.
20. Select the enable market pricing check box.
21. When you have finished every item, shift+control+alt click on the Batch Post button.
22. When all the auctions are finished posting you can close all tabs and you’re done!

The batch posting makes it easier and more automatic to go through all your mail and post them on the auction house. It's activated by pressing the batch post square and then pressing alt+shit+ctrl to post all batch items

Here is some links to a couple of good addons.
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/elephant.aspx

saves your chat log it's easy getting lost with all the spam messages from auctioneer.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/postal.aspxhelps

you open all your mail with one click.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/mailopener.aspx

automatically refreshes your mailbox with postal.

hope you have enjoyed my post now get out there and make some gold!

In this part of my gold guide i want to take up flipping.A easy and fast way to make money. You almost don't need any starting cash and it's takes little time. This is how i made my first 5k gold.

Though it can be risky but if you follow my instructions the chance of you losing money is very slime. First start of by going into the search tab of auctioneer, then press the snatch list. The snatch list is a tool for easily scanning several items at the same time. Now press on a link for the item, you want to add to your snatch list for example arctic fur and infinite dust is good for flipping on my server. Then write in the maximum amount you want to pay for that item and press add item.

Then every time you log in scan the auction house and then go into your snatch list and search for the items. Press alt+ctrl+shift and left click the purchase button and it will queue up all the items in your list.

For example i have a snatch listed called flipping i have infinite dust for 1g and 50s, but the average market price is 2g. But thats my server all servers are different, but on all servers the price go up and down. Arctic fur and frozen orbs are also good flipping. In general all items that sell quick and at all times is a good flipping item.

Now you just buy cheap items and wait for the market to go up. I recommend having a set price that you sell the item on the auction house for example i have a set price selling price on my infinite dust of 1g and 70s and my maximum buying price is 1g and 50s this gives me a minimum profit of 20s a dust.

Different markets sell att different times, enchanting mats often sell after raid nights when the people that raid have gotten new gear or on Wednesdays when the pvpers have gotten their arena points. This is when you want to sell because people will buy the mats faster then people post it which will result in the price going up.

I would recommend buying in 20 stacks and selling in singles, because the singles sell faster and more often.

You don't need any special addons except auctioneer, but if you want to go hardcore into flipping i recommend getting the addon market watcher www.wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/market-watcher.aspx You add items to a list and it scans the ah for those items and brings up a graph of the prices at different times of the week. You will be able to see when to buy the item and when to sell it .

100th post :)

This is the 100th post i have posted on this blog so hurray and we are almost at 3300 views, Because of this i will increase the prices of the contest on next Saturday on the 7th to 8k first price 6k second 3k third price So tune in on bronzbeard eu horde side on 19:00 server time the 7th and listen in trade chat and on the blog for more information about the contest.

Auto sorting your inventory

I have used this addon for a while it's called bankstack you press it once and it starts to move your inventory and sorts it by quality, so for example all the warrior glyphs is in one bag and the priest glyphs in another. This is very neat because you can easily find anything without having to look for a long amount of time. bank stack can also sort your guild bank and your bank it's a very useful tool for a quick and easy way to clean your bags. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/bank-stack.aspx

qa3 vs appraiser/auctionator

There is a big fuzz about which addon is the best to post with right now there are several people that have made big posts on this matter. I use QA3 as a cancell and undercutting tool for example my glyphs or my epic gems that i want to sell quick. But the stuff i flip or resale i don't really care that much about so i just use appraiser and let them stay on the action house for 48 without undercutting or canceling.

http://www.justmytwocopper.org/2010/07/qa3-and-auctioneer.html

http://greedygoblin.blogspot.com/2010/07/qa3-or-auctioneer.html

smelt and vendor saronite ore

If saronite ore is sold for under 9g a stack snatch it and smelt it then vendor it this is a sure money maker because it will always give you profit. So but it on your snatch list and if anyone is stupid enough of posting it that low snatch it and smelt it.

Setup

Found this guy that had a really good serup and a good plan on how to make gold so decided to make a post about it.

Ench
With him I'm in the twink scroll market(Crusader, 30sp, 100 health chest, 14/25 agi and soon 29 healing power , 4 + chest, fiery weapon. I DE classic/bc stuff for auctions. I built all the standard scrolls (atm 2-3k profit per day). I'm awaiting the new heirloom Items (hands/wrists maybe?) and considering to get glove enchants from AQ or for BC rep.

Eng
I love the paladin because he is a jack of all trades and engi is just a gimicky profession that fits to that. I know that many people make great g/hour with this but I do not seem to get lucky with this profession. I do not know yet which mats limit the pets so I snatch too much of available mats and lack the rare stuff. I will get the hang of it in the future. Thought about selling "bottle neck" items. Those with rare/strange mats you only need once in your life. But it seems to time consuming making proper snatch lists.

Assumptions based on WOTLK: Engi and Ench will not need rep/dailies/instance dropps to get BiS recipes.

Druid Leatherworking 450, Scribe 1/50. Will not be played
Leatherworking
All about leg enchants. I sell ~ 20 a day. I buy any leather below 65s and all the arctic fur below 50. I also flip leg enchants / fur. About 1k a day very solid, and very easy profit. I think about

I probably will not enter the 245 / 264 Market. Our Ah is full of them and i'm afraid that i'm too late. For cata i will go for the new fur flipping / leg enchants, lower Tier PVP gear , raid gear.

Assumption/Hope:I think/hope recipes from now on can always be bought for a primordial saronite like Item or from the auction house. If this is not the case my plan will not work

Scribe 1/50
What everyone does. Glyphs, Vellums (mainly for my enchanter), ink. Cards + offhands with looow priority. I'll prepare a huge stock for 3.9 when everyone can buy every glyph and basically learn it.

Cata : no Idea..

Warrior 80 (alch 1/450, JC 450) maybe played
Alch
Daily Transmutation, Meta gems, Titanium Transmute, Primal Might.
Aim is steady, easy income and max synergy with JC.
Assumption: Alchemie will not require dailies , rep, rare recipes. It can be leveld and used from Orgrimmar

JC 1/450
RareEpic gem market is still decent on my realm, use the synergie with Alchemie.
In Cata JC seems to be pretty straight forward. Prospecting will be worth it again and profit margins will be bigger again.

Biggest question: Will the JC daily be doable in 80 blues. I'm afraid This will be the dealbreaker.

Priest Herb 450 /mining 450 will be played
I only farm while I level ...

OPTIONS
Tailor
Dropp herbing and start tailoring for bags(Frostweave in cata), cloth cds, DEing and maybe low lvl pvp gear/epic recipes in cata. Nothing out of the ordinary but it seems a very solid profession
Bank alt / style gear.

Assumption: Will need reputation for the best bags, all the other stuff can simply be bought

BS
For me the least attractive crafting profession. For cata I see the rod market, low tier PVP gear and epic (tank) recipes, belt buckles. Propably not going for that. The become really rare on my realm. Having it is not bad, but any other profession seems more profitable. For DEing I already have leatherworking, JC and perhaps tailoring. If there is a new cobalt axe maybe..

I do not see the synergy JC / alchi and scribe / ench have with each other.
The solid cd dependend income (alch / tailoring) or high turnover (alch, ench, scripe)

What is your opinion? Should I move some professions around? I still can because only engi/ench/leatherworking is already levelt. What is your stance on the BS/Tailoring Issue.

Cooking / fishing
Fishing is great for money but I hate it. Cooking for money has not been profitable. Feast is consistently 60% the price of mats on my realm. I don't expect that to change.

vendor pets, recipes, vendor profession mats, cross faction
Too many people are already into this, so scaming does not work so great anymore. Also Alliance is dead on my realm. Not much to buy or sell there. Getting all the vendor pets is also a pain in the but for 30g-50g profit. Not worth the time from my experience.

Finally
Thanks for reading and any feedback.

Spreadsheets

Found some good spredsheets on the forums, of course this will not be the same prices as our server but this will give you and idea of what the prices are and how to make you own speadsheet.

20k levling forums tips part 2

Tips taken from the 20k leveling forums

My Tip: When a crafted item is being sold for more than it's normal average price, expect many players to try and compete for the higher price and take advantage of it by selling the materials for a nice profit. I do not believe the specific details are important. Recognize the situation, not the prices.

I didn't really go into detail about prices since it's probably variable on a lot of different conditions. Titansteel was just an example, you can look for other items like this of course. I will mention I tried it with ametrine when someone started posting cuts for 300g and it didn't go well. I was undercut quickly and often. I believe people noticing the price of the raw gems was more than normal were spending honor to compete with me.

Here are some more specific details if you really want them:

Titansteel is normally between 65-85g each
Eternal Fire 15-30
Titanium Bars 10-15
Frozen orbs 15-30

This particular afternoon a player bought all the titansteel on the AH and posted it for 110g each. (most of it was purchased from me in the first place)
I bought most of the titanium bars for less than 15g each, but a few were 17.50 and sold them all for 25g in stacks of three. Total: ~6000
I bought most of the eternal fire for less than 22g. I left several full stacks at 29g each. I posted them for 45g and sold about 30 of them. Total: 1350g (technically a loss, see note)
I bought all of the frozen orbs for about 22g each and posted them for 35g. Total: 1750g
Later I bought three stacks of titansteel for 55g each and posted them starting at 85g. Not all of them sold for that, but over several days I sold them all for more than 55g each. Total: ~4200

I ended up with ~30 left over Eternal Fire. All of them cost me about 1500g so I lost 200g on Eternal Fire. But I look at it like this I spent 200g and got 30 Eternal fire. That means I can produce a Titansteel Spikeguards for approximately 70-80g less than normal. I also use them for Titansteel Bars, Vengeance Bindings and an occasional Cardinal Ruby. I really don't mind having extra Eternal Fire left over as I go through the things quickly.

In this particular case it did help that a player was boasting in trade that he was going to have all six 245 plate items crafted as well as all six 264 items. He chose my mats over the bars, despite the fact that my mats cost more than the bars did.

My tip: If you're an engineer, don't limit yourself to only crafting arrows. A cheap, low-volume and high profit item to craft is High-powered Flashlight. What makes it so special? Unlike most engineer-made trinkets, you don't need to be an engineer to use it! Low level characters will jump for the chance to get that chunk of hit. The mats are pretty cheap and I normally sell 1 a day for 200-300 gold.

Tip:
I have mentioned this before, but watch trade chat for people trying to buy materials. You may not have what they want at the moment, but what they ask for may tip you to what they will be looking for later. You can preemptively get those items ready to go on the AH. A couple of strategic whispers will also do wonders.

What I am trying to do is guess if they are leveling a profession, which one it is and what level they are at. The armory will tell you which one. Waiting for them to log out and then checking the armory will give you a more accurate number. A simple "Hey, are you leveling xxx? That was really very expensive for me, but worth it in the long run. What level are you at now?" will work wonders. It also sets them up to expect to spend lots of gold. Is this shady? I don't think so.

Now with the information you have, you can make some very good guesses about what they will need next. If you are not familiar with the profession just use Wowhead to look up the recipes a player can learn from the trainer or consult a popular 1-450 guide.

Here are a few examples:
[2. Trade][Buyer] WTB: Mithril Ore and Citrine
(probably a JC, try to sell him bars. If he get's ore he can prospect it for Citrine and other gems, costing you a lot of potential sales. He will very likely be looking for star rubies, thorium ore/bars and Large Opal and Aquamarine soon. Whenever possible to reasonably do it, keep ore out of his hands.)

[2. Trade][Seller] Wts: Ring of Silver Might x 30
(A HUGE TELL! Jade is the single most profitable gem on my ream before wrath and Golden Draenite, and this player is very likely about to hit it. This is definitely a JC who wants to be spanked)

[2. Trade][Buyer] WTB: Tangy Clam Meat
(A cook, not as common as a JC, but often enough. If I saw someone looking for Tangy Clam Meat I am going to soak up Buzzard Wings, White Spider Meat and Barbed Gill Trout.)

BOUNS TIP:
Be careful what you ask for in Trade chat when leveling a profession. The way I handle it is over the week or two before I level a profession I add the items I will need to my Shopping List in Auctionator. I wait for great deals and then buy. I don't even start 1-450 until I have everything I need for it. My first JC cost about 300g 1-350 and the second one was 600g 1-350. I sold items I crafted to get those prices of course, and 350-450 was total profit.

BONUS BONUS TIP:
Slow down a little. Being impatient cost gold. If you have to wait a couple of hours to move through a couple of points, then wait. Players desperately trying to go from 1-450 with no planning as fast as possible, pay me a fortune to d

Okey that's all for now end of part 2

Recording a video

I am thinking about recording a video that explains some of the addons but i am not sure of what it should be about and what stuff i should cover so if you got any ideas give me a whisper or leave a comment on this post :) Might also record some on the contest day

You want server data?

If you having troubles with getting auctioneer to give correct prices, this can be because you don't scan often enough i have about 4 months of data and i scan several times a day. So if you need auctioneer data from bronzebeard eu horde side just give me a whisper on missbanks and i will send a email to you. When you get the data you post it into your wow/wtf/(your account name)/saved variables and you save it there. This way when you start auctioneer it will find that data instead of your old data. Happy to help so just give me a whisper

EDIT
Managed to get it up on a hosting site so here's the link
http://www.2shared.com/file/buRBfoyH/Auc-ScanData.html
Click save file to computer and you will start download it!

new design

I have gotten a question from a person that wants to help me with the design on the website, he is a website designer and programmer. He has decided to design a new website for me in his spare time. I don't know when it will be done, but i will probably take a while. But i just wanted to give him a thanks and give you guys an update.

Vote for Bronzebeard realm!

I linked a website before called the undermine journal, it is a website were they record the auction house data twice a day at different all days of the week. You can search for an item on that server and you get up lots of statistics as a graph about how the prices move this is really good for almost anything you can learn when to buy what en when to sell something. So if you want our server to be a part of this website go on to http://theunderminejournal.com/realmrequest.php and pick bronzebeard hord eu and vote for bronzebeard!

Tips from 20kleveling forums

Saw a tread on the 20klevling forums were they give out tips and rate the usefulness of their tip by 1-10, so i will post some of them here.

9/10
Saronite ore -> titanium/titansteel.

Basically, I buy saronite ore for <13g a stack then smelt it. The bars are then sent to my alchemist where they are turned into titanium. I then load up a simple spreadsheet I made and put in the cost of the eternals needed to make them into titansteel and the current AH price and it tells me if it is more profitable to make it.

The average amount of gold I make from it is around 500g+ a day (limited by the amount of saronite ore, tend to buy around 800+ a day).

8/10
My tip is for JC. Always keep an eye on adamantite ore. People are preparing for Cata and will be leveling JC. I don't have a spreadsheet but I found 28 stacks under 13.5g for a total of 378g. I prospected it all, and made Mercurial Adamantite out of the powders. I then posted half of the uncommon gems for anywhere from 4-7g each. I still have a few uncommons that haven't sold yet, but I have made about 1500g profit from doing this! That's almost 400%!

In Outland you can get:

Plans: Adamantite Plate Bracers
Plans: Adamantite Plate Gloves
Plans: Adamantite Breastplate

For Horde, you get it in Shadowmoon Valley, Alliance in Zangarmarsh.

Vendor price is 6g, I consistently sell the plans for 100G each, and they sell pretty well. The armor is decent for leveling tanks, especially with the gem slots.

Okey that's all for now got some more tips but will post them later another time

How to get a farmer to send you mats

Creating relationships to farmers is very important you can get mats cheaper then the ah and often in bigger quantities. So how do you get a farmer to keep sending you mats?
1 Have bag space ready
2 Have a lot of cash ready enough so you can buy the farmer out.
3 Now send a WTB message in trade and just wait.
4 When someone wants to sell to you and asks how many you say as many as you got.
5 If this is a big farmer and you buy all his stocks he will surely remember you.
6 Be polite and say that if he has any more he can cod it to you for the same price.
7 Every time he send you something it's important to buy it that way he knows that it's a certain sell.

If this doesn't work add the people to your friends list and contact them instead of they contacting you.

Money making update

Heres some screen from my different chars. I have about 4000 auction up over my chars and there are currently a bit over 16000 auction so i owe about 1/4 of the auction house. On the bigpicture addon i have about 145k i had about 155k but i spent some. So it's about 70k more and then i will have goldcap in items

Cross faction

If you have the time and a allie toon you can start doing cross faction trade to start you need to transfer about 1k to alliance and scan the auction houser several times for about a week to have good data. Then you go onto the search tab appraiser in auctioneer, and set up the same way you set up resale 64% and 1g minimum. Then buy the things that comes up and send it to a toon you have in booty bay or another neutral ah and buy it on the alliance side and sell it. The neutral auction house takes 15% of the amount you sell the auction for so the best is to post if for a couple of copper but then it can be snatched up by someone else thats camping the neutral auction house so you need to be quick. Of course you need two accounts or a good friend to help you with flipping sides of the items.

So what to flip sides with? I would say pets, trade goods and things like promodial saronite. Basically everything that's harder to get at one side but is not faction specific.

From 20k levling forums:

Personally, for cross faction I just look at common items and then take advantage of market discrepancies. Main ones I look at are: Titansteel, Titanium ore/bars, Primordial Saronite, Cloth, Crafting and cooking mats.

On my server I will see primoridals at 200-500 gold difference, titanium around 20-100 gold, titansteel around 20-30 gold, cloth 5-15 gold per stack (rune cloth, wool, linen are the ones I check) and then crafting and food... Fish mats can be 30 gold difference, crafting mats can range a bit too. I just moved my dk from skinning/mining to blacksmith/jewelcrafting and much of my mats I would buy more than I needed on alliance and sell the excess on horde and basically pay for all of my mats that way. I had 8k gold on my dk when I started and I finished with 10k after I got done leveling profs. Primordials are cheaper on horde but the rest are cheaper on alliance.

Call to auction new episode

The new episode of call to auction is out it's a great podcast with marko from justmytwocopper.org and some other gold making guys.

The new ads don't work

The new ads dosn't work so i have decided to go back to using adsense but i will now try to get rid of the gold seller ads by blocking them so if you see any not the adress it says under and report it to me so i can ban it.

engineering

There are several ways to make gold by engineering by ammonition and by pets are the once thats the most common.

Repair bot to make money

I don't usually answer people who ask for professions in trade chat, unless they ask for something unusual. So I hopped over to my engineering alt immediately when a level 67 warlock asked for an engineer to craft Scrapbot Construction Kit. He told me he was making his own Jeeves but couldn't get access to the Scrapbot recipe (it requires level 77). Of course there were absolutely none in the AH. So I took his 40 saronite bars and made him his scrapbots. I didn't even ask for a tip; he had already given me a HUGE one.

Immediately after this I grabbed 80 saronite bars out of the bank and put two stacks of 20 scrapbots up on the AH for 375g each. They sold the same day. This might be the new Saronite Shuffle!

As soon as maintenance is over I'm going to check the AH for the other bots required for Jeeves, Field Repair Bot 74A and Field Repair Bot 110G. Many engineers have no idea where to learn these and (I suspect) are too lazy to look it up. The 110G schematic is apparently a rare drop but I was lucky enough to get it on one kill while I was putting together my own Jeeves.

Stacks for Jeeves:

2 Field Repair Bot 74A
10 Field Repair Bot 110G (requires 10 but max stack is 5)
20 Scrapbot Construction Kit'

Cross professions engineering and enchanting farming tuskarr mats
There is 1 recipe that is amazing...

Enchant Formula Cat's Swiftness.....

On my server the void crystals and shards from BC go for dirt cheap.

With Engineering I can farm hundreds of Primal Air with total ease.

Takes 8 Primal Air and 8 Prismatic Shards.

You can get this recipe from Keal Thas in Magisters Terrace

You can either price it to compete with Tuskarr's or price it higher

People generally won't buy the Primal Air.

I find this one of the easiest ways to make gold s it is considered one of the better DPS enchants in the game, runspeed + 6 agi as opposed to runspeed + stamina.

Making yeti pets http://www.wowhead.com/spell=26011 is a good way to make money because there are often no people that sell yetis so you will probably almost alone in the market. Thought it can be hard to find all the mats they will sell for over 100g if your lucky.

Crafting arrows and bullets

I recommend buying frozen orbs or if the eternals are lower buy them when their cheap then craft the bullets. Put them in the qa3 and set it up so it posts 1000 at a time and the you will be able to undercut and post the arrows in one click :)

Thats about all if you have any other tips on how to make money as a engineer whisper me i am missbanks bronzebeard eu

Asking for an item price

When your asking anyone for an item price i recommend that you write like this ? [item link] and you will get an answer like this
15:58:19 To [Lucozade]: ? [Ikfirus's Sack of Wonder]
15:58:19 [Lucozade] whispers: Market Value: 5237g 51s 82c
15:58:19 [Lucozade] whispers: Sell to vendor for: 12g 49s 96c
15:58:19 [Lucozade] whispers: Get stack prices with ?Count[ItemLink] (Count = stacksize)

This is an automated answer from auctioneer so to save the person you are writing to time and to get a faster answer write like this :)

Statistics 2

Some more statistics from the visitor counter

Starting with a new jc

With the money you make craft more gems and buy more titanium ore and remember to do the daily because it's worth about 200g of material.

link love

Just wanted to give some link love so i am gone link some good gold making websites

http://www.justmytwocopper.org/

a good blog daily posts some in depth guides but mostly casual gold making for everyone.

http://www.wowconfidential.com/

A more in depth guide which gives out a longer post each two weeks in average, got some good profession guides.

http://20kleveling.com/JMTCforum/index.php

A good forum with loads of information but kind of hard to find what your looking for with no search mechanic.

http://greedygoblin.blogspot.com/

Not my favorite because he talks about other stuff then gold making and has often rude posts and making fun of other people, but in general a good gold making site.

trying new ads

I am trying to have some new ads thats not that annoying right now i am trying http://www.lnkjuice.com/ref/1156/

Best day to buy

The best day to buy cheap stuff is early Saturday morning, people are asleep and there have been a lot of posting and undercutting during the Friday night which results in low prices. So if you looking for something cheap for example infinite dust it will probably be cheap Saturday morning.

Increase the postal opening speed.

When you increase the speed it's increases how often postal tries to open the mail but if you have low fps or you lagg it will still be slow.

With some screenshots i want to show how to increase the speed of postal opening mails.

The next contest

The next contest is in two weeks on saturday or sunday. It will be the same kind of contest we have had before.

So as you can see i haven't posted that much lately, this is because i have run out of ideas to write about. So i might not post anything in a while until i come up with something to write about or someone gives me an idea. I will go away from this Sunday to the next Sunday so for a week. During this time i will not be able to post or do any contests. So the one we are gone have on Saturday is the last one for 2 weeks. If you have any feedback or ideas for a post please whisper me at missbanks bronzebeard eu.

addons

I want to recommend some addons first is bagnon, it's a bag addon which helps you sort all your bags and have everything neat. You can search for the item you are looking for in you bags and it keeps the info about the different characters and what they have in their bags and bank. http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/bagnon.aspx

The second is bankstack it's an addon that automatically sorts you items and makes it easier keep track of what you have in your bags and bank.

dailies

King of the Hill
Horde - http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=13283
Alliance - http://www1.wowhead.com/?quest=13280

Yeah, it flags you for pvp, but there is never anyone doing this quest. Get flagged, jump in robot, spam jump rockets power at max range (even up sides of cliffs), plant the banner, dismount, fly back and turn in. 13g for under 30 seconds worth of work, travel time included. Great one to do during Icecrown dailies.

My typical route for Icecrown dailies is this, and it goes pretty quick (I'm on Horde side):

* Pick up 4 Tournament Champion dailies
* Fly to Orgrim's Hammer, get Slaves to Saronite and Blood of the Chosen from the two pathing Orc and BE NPCs
* Group up (if possible) and take care of Threat from Above, then Battle before the Citadel
* Head to the base of Ymirheim and get Assault by ground and Assault by Air
* Do assault by ground, and you'll get kills that count for both the icecrown scourge tournament daily AND Blood of the Chosen
* Continue into Ymirheim and finish off 20 Vrykul/15 scourge
* Go to saronite cave and take care of Slaves to Saronite
* Go to King of the Mountain and run the quest, turn in when done (1 daily)
* Fly from there to the starting point of assault by ground, and jump in the ship for assault by air.
* When the ship drops it's 4th infiltrator, bail out and fly back to the quest giver. Turn in both assaults (2 dailies)
* Fly to Shadow Hold and pick up Shoot 'Em Up, Vile Like Fire, and Leave our Mark
* Fly southwest and hit them in that order. If you're really hit up for time, forget about leave our mark, as it is quite a bit slower than the others.
* Fly back, turn in at Shadow Hold (3 dailies)
* Fly to Orgrim's Hammer, turn in (2 dailies)
* Fly to Argent Tournament, joust four champions
* Fly to Argent Tournament, turn in (4 dailies)

Total completed: 12 dailies in easily under an hour. If you're not grinding rep with the tournament, that's an extra 40g from the blue bags as quest rewards. Total is 198g76s, excluding loot along the way. Plus you're working towards that crusader title.

Bots banned

Mats price are going through the roof, the prices keep increasing because of blizzards new anti bot system warden 2.0. This programs makes it easier for blizzard to find the boters and ban them. This have made so that borean leather and other northerend mats increase in price. So if you want to make a good amoutn farming now is the time.

Proffesions

I wanted to link http://www.wow-professions.com/ it's a very good website with guides on how to level each profession. It works pretty well but sometime you have to be flexible and go away from the guide. Some times the mats you need are not on the auction house, in that case go away from the guide and craft the other items instead of the one recommended. To level a profession from 1-450 costs about 4-8k i would say depending on how good deals you get for the mats.
But i would say that for each profession you have you make about 500g-1500g a day without that much time invested.

Places you can farm it on

MOB FARMING

ICECROWN

-ICECROWN GLACIER (45,54)
Mobs: Converted Heroes - HP: 12600
Loot: 8a - 4d - w3a
G/H: N/A
Information: They come in packs of 7. There are also Scourge Banner-Bearers (HP: 12600). Converted Heroes do a Incapacitating Shout decreasing movement by 60% also do a Mortal Strike reducing heals by 50%. Good place for tanks to farm but other classes may not like this place. Most of your money will come from looted trash greys. Occasionaly green and blue items will drop for disenchanting.

-VALLEY OF FALLEN HEROES (48,47)
Mobs: Fallen Heroes Spirit - HP: 12175
Loot: 8a - 4d - w3a
G/H: N/A
Information: These mobs aren't in packs however they constantly spawn. These mobs spawn further away and run towards ICECROWN GLACIER where they eventually despawn. You can easily pick up the running mobs one by one and kill them. I rarely find myself not fighting mobs if I do I take the time to loot. Most of your money will come from looted trash greys. I find this spot for be great for Frostweave Cloth. Occasionaly green and blue items will drop for disenchanting.

-VALLEY OF LOST HOPE (65,53)
Mobs: Scavenging Geist - HP: 12175-12600
Loot: 8a - 4d - w3a
G/H: N/A
Information: These mobs spawn somewhat close to one another and have really low HP so a few range single target abilities can waste them fast. Simply go around in circles OR gather them in packs works great. The low HP and spawning close to one another makes this a good place. Most of your money will come from looted trash greys. Occasionaly green and blue items will drop for disenchanting.

STORMPEAKS

-THE HOWLING HOLLOWS (67,45)
Mobs: Scion of Storm - HP: 12175
Loot: 8a - 6a/1a/1e - 2d - 1f - w3a
G/H: N/A
Information: These mobs are closely gathered so you can kill one and jump onto another quickly. These mobs also give a Zephyr buff that increases movement speed by 50%. This place is great for Miners looking for more than just ore. You make most of the gold from grey items and Relics of Ulduar that drop from the mobs themselves and I find that there is 2-3 veins (Saronite or Titanium) up at one time.

-FROSTFLOE DEEP (62,42)
Mobs: Wailing Winds - HP: 12600
Loot: 8a - 1b - w3a
G/H:
Information: This place is by far the best for farming Eternal Fire. The lack of people farming here allowing quick pulls and only 1 quest involved in there. You can clear the whole cave and geat 1 whole Eternal Fire. Mobs also drop a fair amount of grey trash loot to vendor and some green items.

-THE FRIGID TOMB (42,62)
Mobs: Icebound Revenant - HP: 11770
Loot: 8a - 1d - 6a/1a/1e - w3a
G/H:
Information: These mobs can sort of be scattered out inside the cave since they seem to have large patrols throughout the cave. These mobs drop a good rate of Crystallized Water and can be mined for Crystallized Earth. There are also Saronite/Titanium veins throughout the cave.

-THE FOOT STEPPES (43,56)
Mobs: Ice Steppe Rhino - HP: 11770
Loot: 8a - 5a - 9e - 9a - w3c
G/H:
Information: There are several groups of Rhinos that can be AE'd down. The drop rate is decent for Rhino and Cold Meat. There are also hostile Ice Steppe Bulls in these backs that are just as easy to kill.

-VALLEY OF ANCIENT WINTERS (56,65)
Mobs: Stoic Mammoth - HP:11770
Loot: 8a- 5a - 9b - 9a - w3c
G/H: N/A
Information: There are two mammoth packs running around west of Dun Niffelem that have a good droprate for meat. This place is optional to the Borean Leather location however Skinners will find a better rate of better leathers here.

HOWLING FJORD

-TWIN SHORES (31,74)
Mobs: Reef Cow/Reef Bull - HP: 8982
Loot: 8a - 5a - 9a - w3c
G/H:
Information: These mobs are all yellow so you could kill them 1 by 1 and then head onto the other side and kill more going back and forth they should respawn on the other side after finishing a side. These mobs have a very good chance of Borean Leather as well as Borean Leather Scraps.

BOREAN TUNDRA

-BOREAN TUNDRA (45,42)
Mobs: Wooly Rhino Calf - HP:6326
Loot: 8a - 5b - 9e - 9a - w3c
G/H: 240g/h (More if a skinner)
Information: These mobs are great for Rhino Meat. They spawn in big backs and tons of packs closely grouped allowing non-stop pulling. These mobs also can be skinned for some extra gold.

SHOLAZAR BASIN

-HARDKNUCKLE CLEARING (65,74)
Mobs: Hardknuckle Forager - HP: 8251 / Hardknuckle Charger - HP: 11281
Loot: 8a - 5a - 9a - w3c
G/H:
Information: These mobs are easily killed 1 by 1 or gathered in packs. With a great drop rate for Chilled Meat these mobs are possibly best farm spot. May encounter a few people questing here but usually it is empty. This place is also perfect for Skinners for Borean Leather.

INSTANCE FARMING

GATHER PROFESSION FARMING

ICECROWN

-MINING
Loot: 2d
Information: This is my most favorite farming spot for Saronite Ore. I find making circuits starting at Broken Fronts and stay to the right edge of the inner area of Icecrown up to Sindragosa's Fall heading west towards Jotunheim then south to Icecrown Citadel and follow through to the edge of Ymirheim back to Boken Fronts. I find I get about 2-3 stacks of Saronite Ore in one circuit that takes about 10 minutes which of course you can get more or less depending how many Rich Saronite Nodes you run into as well as Titanium Ore which many times I can run into 3 in a row.

QUESTS

For the readers here the idea behind this category is necessarily farming quests can't really do that. However my plan (with you help please) is to find some of the fastest/most rewarding combo of Dailies. In other words what 25 Dailies will reward most gold - what 25 dailies are the fastest and by what means are they such.

Resale

It's Tuesday as everyone should know these means it's time to resale,so i would recommend if you are gone resale anytime do it on Tuesdays. Because the bid time on your bids will keep going during downtime and you can't be outbid during the downtime. :) This is a great way to make sure you get the items you bid on

Enchanting

i Don't know that much about the enchanting market so i will borrow some stuff from 20k leveling forums and post it here so if something seems weird it's because i didn't write it.
Well i am gone start talking about disenchanting, this is very good for cross proffesions for example with Blacksmithing you can craft axes to then disenchant them to get essences, there are a lot of cross proffesions disenchanting. FOr example here is a post about jc to ench cross proffesion

A while back I used to always get Eternal Earth and Eternal Shadow, craft them into the Shadow Might Rings and DE masses of them.

That was back when a stack of Infinite Dust sold for 80-100g and Greater Planar Essences were 15-20g each with Dream Shards also being in the 20s range.

I hadn't even thought about doing it recently until I was doing some looking over of various mats on both factions when I realized that (Server prices vary) Eternal Earths and Shadow were going for about 2.8g each.

I ended up grabbing enough to craft 280 Shadow Might Rings which costs 1,560g

My results...
Infinite Dust x 1,642
Greater Cosmic Essence x 90
Dream Shard x 11

Prices per..
Infinite Dust - 1.2g my faction, 1.5g cross faction
Greater Cosmic Essence - 10g my faction, 13g cross faction
Dream Shard - 3g my faction, 5g cross faction

Totals...
2,346g worth of mats from my faction
2,992g worth of mats from cross faction

I plan to Enchant a bunch of Vellums with various Enchants and sell them cross faction where Enchanting Scrolls are overall more expensive.

Just thought some would like to know depending on their market for Saronite and if they are looking for some quick mats at a decent discount.

So if the saronite and enternals are cheaper then the enchanting mats you can make some good cash on this. This tactic will work on our server you just get frozen orbs for about 19g each or cheaper and you can make some really good cash.

Disenchant
You can use the disenchant tab in the search window of auctioneer and set it up like resale but how much you want to make and just press search buy it and disenchant them
scrolls

Tools
QA2
Auctioneer *optional (do not run on the same character as QA2 because it slows down)
Enchanting profession

HOWTO:
Step1. Decide the cost of these mats.
Infinite dust
Greater Cosmic Essence
Dream Shard
Abyss Crystal

Armour Vellum III
Weapon Vellum III

Crystallized Water
Eternal Air
Eternal Fire
Eternal Life
Eternal Earth
Eternal Water
Eternal Shadow
Scarlet Ruby
Titanium Bar
Titansteel Bar

Step 3
Use this spreadsheet to figure out the cost of every scroll.
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AmXY-MlVwV6idEhvc3YxTnRnVTRzd2JJa0g4VEVjcXc&hl=en#gid=0
Obviously adjust the mats to the costs that fit you.

Step 4
Make 1 of every Scroll

Step 5
Make a category for every scroll where you make the Threshold be Cost + 5% AH cut. Set the fallback to whatever feels comfortable to you. My fallback are set to 35% above my Threshold.

Step 6
Post all the Scrolls on the AH

Next step is a bit controversial
Step 7
Buy out every scroll significantly below your threshold. Don't worry about getting flooded because I'll tell you how to get your money back.

So your competitor decided to sell you 30 Boots - Superior Agility
scrolls for 17g each. You have 2 options. Hold onto them and sell them on AH, OR
advertise your Enchanting:
/2 [Enchanting] Free with your mats.
And when they ask you to do the enchant, just trade them the scroll for mats.
I usually do this once a week when I have a multitude of scrolls accumulate.
WARNING: Don't buy out any scrolls with 'spirit' in the title. Spirit is a useless enchant nobody wants.

Step 8
Feel free to cancel and Repost as many times as you want. Scrolls don't have a deposit cost.

SO basically what this post recommend is to set up with this spreadsheet, the costs of the mats and that gives you how much you should put in the scroll for in qa3 as shown in my other earlier guide. Because the prices is so different create a group for every kind of scroll. Also that if the scroll prices drop to much, you can buy them up and then resale that scroll.

Scrolls you don't get from the trainer

Enchants with Reputation Requirements

* Enchant 2H Weapon - Agility - You can get this enchant by becoming Friendly with Timbermaw Hold.

* Enchant Weapon - Agility - You can get this enchant by becoming Honored with Timbermaw Hold.

* Enchant Gloves - Superior Agility - This formula requires becoming Exalted with Keepers of Time.

* Lokhtos Darkbargainer in Blackrock Depths sells stuff in the name of the Thorium Brotherhood:
o Enchant Weapon - Strength - Requires Friendly.
o Enchant Weapon - Mighty Spirit - Requires Honored.
o Enchant Weapon - Mighty Intellect - Requires Revered.

Enchants from Drops (Most are BoE, so they can be acquired through the AH to avoid the low drop rates)

* Enchant Weapon - Fiery Weapon - Drops from Pyromancer Loregrain in Blackrock Depths. (Tutorial video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KE3oBO92UA4 *NOT made by me*)

* Enchant Weapon - Crusader - Drops from Scarlet Archmages (Elite) in Eastern Plaguelands or Scarlet Spellbinders (non-Elite) in Western Plaguelands.

* Enchant Chest - Greater Stats - Totally Random, so buying it from the AH might be the best option. This enchant will be nice for the new BoA chests in 3.2.

* Enchant Weapon - Mongoose - Drops from Moroes in Karazhan.

* Enchant Weapon - Spell Power - Drops in Molten Core (very low drop rate). This a very good enchant for heirloom items, and the formula is also BoE, which means that going through Molten Core to get it is optional.

* Enchant Bracer - Major Defense (Bind on Pick-up) - Drops in Netherstorm, from Ethereum Nullifiers, Ethereum Jailors, and Ethereum Researchers. (Lower than 0,5% drop rate)

* Enchant Weapon - Lifestealing - Drops in Scholomance, from Spectral Researchers.

* Enchant Weapon - Unholy - Drops in Stratholme, from Thuzadin Shadowcasters and in Terokkar Forest from Bonechewer Backbreakers.

1 million gold, just linking for fun

Just wanted to link this to show that some people have sick amounts of gold so welcome to the 1 million gold club

High cost flipping

Everyone know that the more money you put into something the more profit right? but it's also more money you are risking ,if something goes wrong. In these market is promodial saronite and battered hilt. I often like to flip these from the trade to the auction house, because some people think i just want to get rid of this and get some gold. So they sell it 20% cheaper then the auction house this is when you snatch that item from trade and post it up on the auction house, there easily 20% of that item in profit isn't that nice. But as i said not many people have the money to flipp these items, if you have you should absolutely do it.

New posts

I have noticed that i am kind of running dry on ideas, if i don't get any good suggestions i am gone have to dive into more deeper and harder guides. The problem with that is that maybe not all people do have the proffesions or gold necessary to follow the guide which will be a bit boring for the people left behind. So if you have any good ideas contact me on missbanks or leave comment on this post

Gold making podcast

I want to recommend a good podcast with marko from justmytwocopper.blogspot.com and some other people that like gold making. It's a good podcast though they are not so good at releasing regularly but at least they have 10 episodes each episode is a bit longer then a hour.

Alchemy

In alchemy you can have three specs flask, elixir and transmute. For each spec when you craft you specialty, you have a chance to proc 1-5 extra of what ever item you are crafting.I would recommend when you are gone choose one take transmute because it's the easiest one to get then you can pay to respec to any other of the specs. You learn the specs from this guy http://www.wowhead.com/npc=22427.
Lauranna Thar'well - Cenerarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh(Potions Master)
Zarevhi - Stormspire in Netherstorm (Transmutes Master)
Lorokeem - Shattrath Lower City in Terrokar (Elixers Master)

Transmute
With transmute you can transmute one epic gem every day, transmute is good for a steady income, this is be increased if you have a jewel crafter to cut you gem. always check what mats to profit are the highest and transmute that one. You will have a chance on procing 1-5 extra gems when you transmute for the same mats cost. You can also craft earthsiege and skyflare meta gems, which if you have a jewelcrafter you can get a good profit from.

Good: a steady sure income, chance of extra gems.
Bad: hard to increase your income.

Flask/elixir mastery
With flask spec you have a chance to proc 4-10 flask,I am myself not into the flask business but i have heard that you can make a good amount of gold from it. You can be in the flask market without having flask spec but on server that have hard competition and the profit is very low, you will need flask spec to be able to make a profit. this is how popular the different flasks are

Flask of Endless Rage - 5
Flask of Stoneblood - 3
Flask of Pure mojo - 2
Flask of the frost wyrm - 5
Potion of speed - 5
Potion of wild magic - 4.5-5
Endless mana potion - 2
Endless health potion - 2

The numbers represent which sell better then others. 1 being non existant and 5 being can't keep in stock. This of course varies with server and all that jazz but the general trend follows. Endless rage and frost wyrm are what all the dps in the game use and most healers use frost wyrm as well. Stoneblood is an alright seller but not nearly as well simply because there are more dps in a raid then tanks.

And here is the price cycle
Tuesday and Wednesday are the nights prices spike. By Saturday most of the raiding guilds have finished or are finishing up. Prices tend to fall Sunday night / Monday morning. Depending on the Pug status of your server Mondays might actually be decent days as people will do last minute pugs before the reset.

How to calculate the flask price http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AqsLF_WA3vdDdHNJTU5uVnM2S0E3RHRQQV9GR3FwTlE&hl=en&authkey=CNyN4asF

http://20kleveling.com/JMTCforum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6339

Good: you can easily increase your income by undercutting and going into all flask markets,You can also increase you profit by finding a farmer to get the mats cheaper.
Bad: no steady income have to work to get the cash.

- Master of Elixirs is an Alchemy profession specialisation (remember you are stuck with the one you choose) you can learn by completing the quest "Master of Elixirs" given by Lorokeem at Shattrath's Lower City (45.7 , 21.1)
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10902

- Master of Elixirs will create 0 - 4 extra elixirs

- It is active for ALL Elixirs and will proc for flasks as well (lucky me had a 5x crit on Flask of Supreme Power)

- The Proc rate seems variable (my total average was 18,71%) As it seems there is a lower proc rate for the low level Elixirs (lvl 5-200 had a 12.85%) with a higher proc rate for the high end elixirs and flasks (27.40%)

- Master of Elixirs only activates "discovery" but does not increase the probability with Elixirs.

potion
Potions are kind of dead in wotlk right now i see now real way to make any gold on potions unless selling low level potions, this might change in cataclysm i don't know but as it is right now potion mastery is worthless.

These are taken from http://20kleveling.com/JMTCforum/index.php a good gold making forums.

Vote

For you that want to vote click on the profession you want to vote on the n on the rösta button rösta=vote it's on Swedish and i can't get it to switch to English sorry for that :(

Stockpile for cataclysm?

So what should you stockpile for cataclysm? i would say low level trade goods and low level gear, because people will want their alts to have the best gear they can get and they will be power leveling the alts professions. But also the thing i think is the smartest to stock is bags both neatherweave bags and frostweave bags, the people that level their alt want to have big bags so they don't need to go back and sell stuff all the time but can just keep going. So i would say bags, trade goods and gear is good for stocking until cataclysm

Poll

I have started a poll about what professions you want me to talk about, i will try to make a deep gold making guide and dive in a bit in the profession that wins the poll :) the poll goes out at 20 today.
